HWANTA can be used without an account, and timer and transfer history data is stored on your device. We process minimal anonymous usage statistics to improve the service.

1. Overview

Daldagury Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) operates the HWANTA mobile application and hwanta.daldagury.com website (together, the “Service”). The Company complies with applicable laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. This Policy explains what information is processed and how it is protected.

2. Personal information collected directly by the Company

HWANTA does not provide account registration, login, or payment. The Company does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or transfer history through the app or transmit them to its servers.

To understand service usage and the effectiveness of notices about the Company’s other apps, the app sends app-open events; STiT notice impressions, clicks, and dismissals; app version and build number; operating system and version; display language; device manufacturer and model; event time; and an app-scoped installation identifier provided by the operating system (Android ID or iOS IDFV, with an app-generated identifier used when unavailable). We do not collect advertising identifiers, IMEI, serial numbers, or a device name set by the user.

The installation identifier is one-way hashed on the server, and IP addresses are not stored in the app analytics table. Raw events are automatically deleted after no more than one year. This information is used only to aggregate anonymous active installations, usage by version, OS, language, and device, and click-through rates for our own app notice.

The app may display a notice for STiT, another app operated by the Company. It does not use an external ad network or advertising identifier, and a click opens the operating system’s app store.

If you use your device’s sharing feature to send an inquiry through another app, the transmission occurs only after your explicit action and is not collected automatically by HWANTA.

3. Information stored on your device

The following data is stored on your device to provide app functions:

You can delete transfer records in the app. Deleting the app also removes locally stored app data according to your operating system’s rules.

  • Area, transfer type, start time, and end time for an active timer
  • Completed or expired timer history
  • Preferred area, display language, and text-size setting
  • Recently retrieved exchange-rate data and refresh time
  • Anonymous operational events waiting to retry after a network failure (up to 100 events for 7 days)

4. Device permissions

Notifications are used for active timers and upcoming or expired transfer alerts. On Android, the optional exact alarm and reminder permission is used to deliver an alert at the transfer end time you set.

You can use policy information and the basic timer without these permissions, but background alerts may be limited. Permissions can be changed at any time in device settings.

5. External service and cross-border processing

To display optional reference exchange rates, your device sends a request directly to ExchangeRate-API operated by AYR Tech (Pty) Ltd. The provider may receive information required for network communication, such as your IP address and request time.

Requests may be processed on servers in Ireland, South Africa, and Germany when exchange rates are refreshed. Retention and deletion are governed by the provider’s policy. A failure of this optional feature does not affect the timer.

ExchangeRate-API terms and privacy information

6. Website access information

The website has no account system, inquiry form, advertising, or marketing cookies. To improve the service and measure app-store link performance, it sends the visited page, display language, referring domain and UTM campaign data, clicked button label, mobile or desktop category, access time, and a random browser-tab session identifier to the Company’s server.

Only the referring origin is sent, not the full previous-page URL. We do not collect an advertising identifier or location, and IP addresses are not stored in the HWANTA web analytics table. Raw events are automatically deleted after no more than one year and aggregated results are available only in a restricted administration page. Separate infrastructure logs may be processed for security and incident response and are deleted without undue delay after their purpose is fulfilled.

7. Third-party provision and processing

The Company does not sell your information or provide anonymous app analytics to advertising networks or data brokers. Except for a lawful request under applicable law, the Company does not provide information it directly processes to a third party. The exchange-rate communication described in Section 5 occurs between your device and the external provider.

8. Your rights

You can delete records stored on your device. Deleting the app removes locally stored records and queued events. Anonymous operational events retained on the server are automatically deleted after no more than one year. Requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information may be sent to the email below and will be handled under applicable law.

9. Children’s information

HWANTA does not target children of a specific age for personal-information collection and does not provide account creation or personal-information input features.

10. Security measures

The Company minimizes data processing, keeps transfer records on the device, and uses encrypted HTTPS connections for external communication. Usage statistics are available only through a restricted administration page, and reasonable safeguards including access controls, audit logs, and security updates are applied.
